For over 30 years the award winning Bob Brown Puppets has been entertaining and educating children with delightful marionette shows of wit and whimsy. From Israel to Japan children of all ages thrill at the antics of Bob and Judy Brown's creative productions of fairy tales and classical masterpieces. Workshops on puppet making and on the art of puppetry are also available and can be tailored to fit the school's needs.
The Three Wishes (K-5) A presentation of the Brothers Grimm fairy tale about a woodcutter and his wife, and the decisions they must make with their three wishes. Remember: "Be Careful what you wish for, you just might get it." The Reluctant Dragon (K-5) A marionette adaptation of the comic medieval adventure of a fire-breathing dragon who terrifies villagers, yet prefers writing flowery poetry to devouring young maidens. The Frog Prince (K-5) is a one performer story using "live" voices by Master Puppeteer, Bob Brown as he manipulates large cartoon-style marionettes. Knightime (preK-3) COME YE TO THE FAIRE! Travel back in time with Master Puppeteer Bob Brown, to join his Gallant Knights and their Lovely Ladies, at his Fantastic Renaissance Faire! Discover for yourself a Mysterious Gypsy, a Jolly Jester on the Tightrope, a Performing Bear, a Delightful Dancing Dragon, a Silly Stilt-Walker and even a marionette performing an old fashioned Punch & Judy Show. A fun-filled forty-five minute performance, featuring Bob Brown's incredible 'trick marionettes.' Clowning Around (all ages) A collage of clever marionette clowns who juggle, sail through a flying trapeze, roller skate, and blow up balloons to circus music. |
