Mariachi de los Compadres presents festive and lively multicultural performances of Hispanic music. Dressed in traditional charro attire, the band performs traditional folk music from the various regions of Mexico.

Rhythms and vocal harmonies are intertwined with the group's instrumental skills, including violin, guitar, and trumpet. Students are encouraged to participate in several dances, including the Mexican Hat Dance. The history of each musical selection, and Spanish vocabulary are introduced. Mariachi de los Compadres is a wonderful addition to any school festival or as part of curriculum enrichment for studies in Spanish and Spanish/American History.
