Since 1970, Michael Shwedick has presented Reptile World programs to schools from Miami to Boston. The program gives students a chance to meet, in a non-threatening manner, a wide variety of live, colorful, and gentle reptiles from all over the world. Dispelling many of the myths and misconceptions while teaching a greater appreciation and understanding for their ecological importance, Michael discusses the aspects, general characteristics, habitat, diet and growth potential of each animal.
The school program includes a rare awesome turtle, super tropical lizard, handsome American alligator, exciting African crocodile, a beautiful young anaconda, Mexican milk snake, giant Indian rock python and several native Virginia snakes!
